Marksbury Farm
Marksbury Farms
Kentucky is known around the world for the quality of its grass. In 2010, Marksbury Farm was founded by a group of like-minded individuals who wanted to steward this precious land while bringing healthy, grass-based protein to the marketplace. Marksbury Farm designed a unique program that every participating farm must follow, and they own and operate a USDA inspected processing facility in Garrard County Kentucky, where each animal is processed. This program does not allow the use of any antibiotics, steroids, or added hormones at any point, their beef is 100% grass fed and finished, hogs and chickens are raised entirely on pasture and forage for a large portion of their diet, and each animal is treated with dignity both on the farms and at the processing facility. Marksbury Farm works with partner farms in their local area in Kentucky and we at FarmFoods are excited to bring you meat from these farms.
